Brian Heckert

Brian D. Heckert, CLU, ChFC is an internationally recognized expert in financial planning and retirement strategies, and served as the 2016 President of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He has worked in financial services for more than 35 years, providing strategic financial advice to individuals and businesses.

He has been a member of MDRT since 1989 and, over more than three decades of membership, has achieved 22 Court of the Table and 15 Top of the Table qualifications. He has held numerous leadership positions within MDRT, served on the Executive Committee for five years, and was elected President of the association in 2016. In 2019, he also served as President of NAIFA Illinois.

Brian is the founder and CEO of FSM Wealth Inc., where he focuses primarily on retirement planning, the design of corporate retirement plans and income distribution strategies. He is the author and co-author of several professional books, including 401(k)nowhow: An Insider’s Guide to Retirement Plan Options. His insights regularly appear in leading business media outlets such as Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, CNN Money and ThinkAdvisor.

As a speaker, he has delivered professional presentations in more than 35 countries around the world and across nearly the entire United States. His topics include financial planning, retirement strategies, practice development, leadership and building long-term client relationships.
